That's right, ladies and gentlemen. You are all witnesses to what is a historic and epic moment for me, but probably carries no real significance for you whatsoever.
Shawn is gone. Tres sads. I actually felt pretty crummy about it, because I know that Shawn's been around a while and he's looking at retirement fairly soon, so it would have been nice to let him end his ORG career on a high note.
But, with him out, I have finally officially managed to best my own personal demons and bring Cursed Erinn Lobdell to the jury phase of a game.
What this also means is that Christa and Kim and I actually have a pretty decent shot at making it to the end, because Darrah and Gabe have been targetting JT for a while now. What that means is that either JT or Gabe will go, and the three of us will be able to force a tie at worst going into the next round.
Where this gets tricky, though, is that Darrah's Immunity win means that Christa gets bumped up a slot in the potential boot order. I think that Darrah would still rather keep me over her, since I'm in an alliance with her in another game, and she knows better than to piss me off.
That being said, I'm not sure how this is gonna go. I might wind up just cutting JT this round, because if me, Gabe, Kim, and Christa all vote for JT, we can send him packing without needing Charlie or Darrah's votes, and that opens the door to driving a wedge between Darrah and Gabe for next round. But it might also be an epic idea to pull in JT and blindside Charlie or Gabe, just to shake things up a bit. I love Gabe, and Charlie's been a reasonably good ally, but I know for a fact that I'm slated to place fifth or sixth in just about everybody's itinerary, so I either gotta start winning challenges again, or I just gotta continue strategizing my butt off...
This will also be my round 8 confessional, but for now it's just my challenge thread. <3

Post-challenge analysis: I find it pretty bizarre that Darrah openly voted for herself as the shot-caller, because that's gonna get her in trouble. I also was unpleasantly surprised to find out that I was unanimously voted biggest threat, and would likely win the game. Ugggh.
